The Edge believes the school that goes home victorious, is the school that leaves
the floor with every dancer feeling like a champion. Competition allows students
to develop as individuals through the enjoyment of performing. The Edge’s
competitive division is unique, exciting and a lot of fun. All competitive dancers are provided with a stimulating and relaxed environment for creative and personal
development.
The Edge's dance troupe currently consists of approximately 100
dedicated dancers who range from the age of 8 to 18 years. All of our dancers love to share their passion for dance
by encouraging other team members and working together to excel as a team. Our competitive dance troupe competes locally,
participating in four competitions a year. The Edge dancers compete in large groups, small groups, solos, duets
and trios in the disciplines of Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. Over the past eleven years,
The Edge has received numerous high score awards and scholarships throughout many competitions across Ontario.
